Getting Started: A Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these simple steps to initialize your device via Ledger.com/Start
Download Ledger Live
Navigate to the download section on this page. Choose the version compatible with your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux). Always verify you are on the official Ledger.com/Start page to avoid phishing sites.
Initialize Your Device
Connect your Ledger Nano S Plus, Nano X, or Stax to your computer. Open Ledger Live and click on "Get Started". Follow the interactive instructions to set up your device as a new device.
Secure Your Recovery Phrase
Your device will generate a 24-word recovery phrase. Write this down on the provided recovery sheet. Do not take a photo or save it digitally. This phrase is the only way to restore your funds if you lose your device.
Install Apps & Add Accounts
Use the "Manager" tab in Ledger Live to install apps for the cryptos you want to manage (e.g., Bitcoin App, Ethereum App). Then, click "Add Account" to create your portfolio. You are now ready to receive assets!
